I have no idea what I'm doing

I used to have a website! Maybe I'll work on someting else soon.

So I was reading some comics on a certain website, trying to find some old game ads, and by pure chance, I found this ad for Nintendo White Knuckle Scorin' at the end of a Harvey Comics reprint of old Tom and Jerry comics (Tom and Jerry Adventures #1, May 1992.)

This particular album is a strange one. It was an official Nintendo licensed album featuring music from a bunch of artists that you wouldn't expect to have anything to do with Nintendo. And in fact, this album only has a single song that's actually related to Nintendo games - Jellyfish's Ignorance Is Bliss, which was written specifically for this album. And if you were on the internet in the early 2000s, you probably know the song from the classic Newgrounds flash video by BigArmyBug, which has been reuploaded to Youtube:

The whole album has a really strange history behind it, which can be read at this NintendoLife article from late 2019.
